Books and Bannock

This event does not require registration and it's open to everyone who visits the library. Inside the Tipi we will have a table with food items like Bannock (Fry Bread) with a variety of toppings (Jam, Honey, butter) and  some drinks.
There will be videos playing  about Stories and Traditions of the Indigenous culture and a display of  many items from the Indigenous collection.
The Tipi will be specially decorated  for the occasion and everyone who comes to the Tipi will have an entry for a chance to win prizes.  The winners will be announced at the end of the day of the event. If the weather does not cooperate (rain, hail, extreme wind, etc.), the event will me moved into the Children area.
