All branches and bookdrops of the Cold Lake Public Library will be closed Tuesday, March 17, 2020 until further notice. Following a thorough review of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, situation, the library will announce plans for a re-opening at a later date.
The library will reset the due date on all materials currently checked out. Holds will be suspended. If you have holds, they will be waiting for you when our branches reopen.
All library programs and meeting room reservations have been canceled until further notice. Hiring has been postponed until further notice.
The eLibrary will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide residents with access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, free online courses and many eResources. You can access them through www.library.coldlake.ab.ca or www.tracpac.ab.ca. To access these resources, login with your user name, which is the barcode number on your library card, with no spaces, and your password, which is the last four digits of your phone number you gave us when you registered.
The safety of our employees and community members is our number one priority. We will continue to serve our community and employees however we can, while adhering to recommendations from all levels of government. Any necessary changes to our services and programs will be shared on the library website and social media platforms. We thank-you for your patience and support and we look forward to seeing you in person again soon.
